Street Photography... Thomas Leuthard ...

Let's share what we find on our journeys.

Thomas Leuthard has a good approach
Take photos
Don't try to make money from the photos
Put the photos in a book
Share the photos (Flickr.com)
Publish the book on ISSUU, a platform for releasing free ebooks

LIMITED TIME: free parking ... How to go to West Palm Beach on Brightline Train

Here are some screenshots from Google Earth
You can leave on the train at 11:55 and arrive in West Palm at 12:35 (40 minutes).  The return trip starts at 3 pm and you return to Fort Laud at 3:40 pm

From 12:35 to 3:00 is 2.5 hours....

So you can make the time a bit easier by leaving at 12:55 and arriving at 1:35...  1:35 to 3:00 is 1.5 hours (enough time for a walk to City Place and lunch).

And the parking is free for a few more months...

The return

The station in WPB between Datura and
Evernia Streets

Looking north and the cross street is
Clematis.  Turn right and you go east.

The Palm Beach Photographic Centre
is on the left (on Clematis)

whoa!  I want my students working or
interning here!

What a great place for learning about
Digital Footprints

Distraction...  looks like Paris, but
it is the capital of a country on another continent

NOT an accurate place....
ignore the red marker

Look at Legends of Xscape...  That is a good place for students to find an internship.
It is an EXCAPE fantasy.   https://legendsofxscape.com/book-now/

Mexican food

Sloan's (pink storefront) has a restroom with a clear door... that goes FOGGY when the door is locked.   Fun

Here is Clematis with restaurants

Whoa, look at the automatic "blurring" of faces on the mural

Pizza on Clematis

The blur changes.. depending on which location you are
looking from on Google Earth.  David Bowie is not blurred.

Bicycles for rent at $3 per 30 minutes

Datura is a back entrance to the train station
... that's a long block
