Here are some screenshots from Google Earth You can leave on the train at 11:55 and arrive in West Palm at 12:35 (40 minutes). The return trip starts at 3 pm and you return to Fort Laud at 3:40 pm From 12:35 to 3:00 is 2.5 hours....
So you can make the time a bit easier by leaving at 12:55 and arriving at 1:35... 1:35 to 3:00 is 1.5 hours (enough time for a walk to City Place and lunch).
And the parking is free for a few more months...
